I spent a big part of my Saturday afternoon making Valentine's with my friend Kathryn. This really wasn't my plan, however when I went over to her house I realized she had a craft world there waiting to create cards! Embossers, glitter, papers, stickers, cutters, it is all organized and screaming at you to play craft hour. So after quite a few cards with candy hearts and xoxo's on them, I got into the Heart filled day sneaking up on us.Yesterday while browsing online I found a few Valentine's Day things that I would love to add to my closet! Kelley Moore...fabulous

If you do not know who Kelley Moore is then go over to her site now... click here! Kelley is a lifestyle expert. Her creativity in design and entertaining is fabulous. I have been following her blog For the Love of Design and have just fallen head over heels in love with her work. She is one of those people where you can tell she absolutely loves what she does and it shows. This is what I aim for , long for and hope for and she is totally inspiring.

Her office was featured in the newest issue of RUE magazine, Um helllllo...amazing! Need I say more, see the pics below.

How cute are these Flamingos that she had at her holiday party! Check out more pics on her blog, it was a fun pink flamingo holiday soiree.
I love the easy fun table arrangement she put together at home for her New Years party. It looks so fun!
The very glamorous diner table below I heart. I love the picture table place cards, inspiring me for my 30th birthday party!

The Curiosity Shoppe

After reading a few blog posts the other day I fell upon this cute shop, the Curiosity Shoppe. The site is really funky and well has the essentials I need: ceramic ice cream cone holders, silly note cards, ribbons, prints, a porcelain door stop. Curious? Head over http://www.curiosityshoppeonline.com/

Here are some of my favorite finds.....
A ceramic trophy for your mantle. Why not!I would use it as a vase. It makes you feel like you always win.
How cute are these little earrings.
LOVE this horseshoe. Maybe for the wall. It makes me want to have a party and put one on each chair as a little gift of luck.
OBSESSED with these ribbons. Not quite sure what I want to do with them but I have a feeling I could find a good reason to dress up the table with them.
How cute is this card? Need I say more.

Curious for what other little treasures they offer. Head on over to their site.

The Golden Globes 2011 - hhmmmmm.

So last night the Golden Globes were on and as a movie fan, the Globes and the Oscars...I LOVE! I have to say, I was a bit under whelmed at the dresses this year. What a mix! I feel bad saying but I think I saw more worst dressed then best, sad. Oh well, here it goes....

Natalie Portman was so so cute accepting her speech, I didn't love but I didn't hate the dress, it was kind of fun. No Michelle Williams, I heart her, but just didn't heart this. I was trying to, the shape of the dress is beautiful but the daisies was a bit not my love.
Helena Bonham Carter, honestly I expected nothing less then crazy. She is married to Tim Burton, their household must be crazy But come on, can somebody please comb her hair!
Heidi Klum...what???? Really! Such a pretty lady, why???

Eva Longaria, finally a beauty, finally. The dress looked amazing, she looked amazing, I loved it.
I think these three minimalist ladies looked stunning. Emma Stone, way to go, you looked beautiful and so chic. Claire Danes, I heart that when they announced you they mentioned My So Called Life! And Michelle Pfeiffer, well you will be 90 years old and still stunning, oh my.
Anne Hathaway looked so old school Hollywood, I loved it.
Scarlett, eek, no. Old lady, didn't love it.
Olivia Wilde, good for you, your dress was pretty and stunning, loved.
Amy Adams I thought looked gorg in this blue dress with her fire red hair. The laser cut ruffles are great.
January Jones....why? really! why? What are you thinking. Such a beauty, such a band bandage dress.
Lea Michelle, ruffles, bows and pink, I was a fan. I thought she looked pretty pretty. Was hoping she would win, thought she might sing the speech:)
And the "golden couple", Brad, you are so handsome. Angelina, the hair? people loved the dress, me, not my favorite.

WOW, what will the Oscars bring us!
