The Royal Couple - Happy 1 Year!

Happy One year anniversary Kate & William! Wow, a year ago we were all glued to the TV waiting to see Kate Middleton appear at the church. There were parties all around the world, Royal viewing parties, parties before, I held a little Royal get together with some friends here and here. I think I might purchase these Royal dolls in honor of the big year to add on to my Barbie collection. What do you think?

I'm heading to London in a couple weeks, I might just have to pick up an anniversary mug to go with my wedding mug!

Budget Beauty: Cream Eye Shadow

Bobbi Brown's Pearl Longwear Cream Shadow has long been a staple in my makeup bag. The eye shadow stays on all day and doesn't crease, and the black pearl metallic is my favorite! The shadow goes on velvety and smooth and one layer is perfect for daytime and a few layers is glittery and smokey for the evening. At $24 per pot I started to add up my little supply of Bobbi pots in my bag and realized, oh my, I'm hooked!
I was browsing at Target and came up on Maybelline's Color Tattoo Shadow and it sounded so similar. For $5.00 I couldn't resist and purchased one. I have to say, not bad! They do not have a glitter option yet {and you know my thing with glitter!} however for an every day look, no creasing, love it. Adding it to my makeup bag!

Not sure yet if I will really replace Bobbi with Maybelline, however for fun colors, $5.00 sounds nice other then $24.00 eye shadow.

What I've been up to...

Here is what I have been up to.....

As I wrote about a few weeks ago, I have been a little MIA, OK A LOT MIA! I left my full time job and have so many new adventures in the horizon, it is almost overwhelming. The last few weeks I have been busy and planning a large wedding in Miami, taking up every minute of my day, however, I loved it! The couple was a pleasure to work with and it was so exciting to be part of their very important day. More detailed photos to come soon but I wanted to share one with you above, this one I snapped on my phone. You can see a few more here

Planning this wedding was such a great accomplish to me. After over 8 years in the event business, catering, weddings, sales, I was finally able to full time do what I had been dreaming of,  not as a part time job. It was exciting. With everything coming up in the next few months I am looking forward to putting lots of work into Floridian Weddings, a couple styled shoots, assisting another lovely couple in a Fall wedding and some other amazing adventures that I will let you know of soon.

I will be honest, I have been having days where I doubt myself, wonder what I'm doing, if I'm doing great and feel all over the board, however, I just keep telling myself it will fall into place and my true passion will come through and make me excited. I'm sitting back today with a latte and sorting through my to do list and getting it all done. My new motto, getting it done!

Happy Sunday. I'm back! xoxo~Becca

I've been MIA

Yes, I know, I am missing in action. Kind of quiet on Twitter, Pinterest, Blogging and Facebook, sorry. to be honest since leaving my full time job I've been swamped and crazy. Happy, but busy. Unfortunately my little
blog has taken a backseat for these two weeks, sad.

I have a big project I am working on for next weekend and it is really taking a lot out of me, oh my! Beau and I finally booked our tickets to Europe for our trip in May and when I get a little stressed I just picture me running through the tulip fields in Holland, not kidding! I am SO excited we will be in Holland in May and I have made Beau promise me that we will stop and take many many many photos in the amazing fields! Yep, so the light at the end of the tunnel of a little crazy is the tulips. hahaha.

I'll be back soon. xoxo~Becca
